Renie grew up in Philadelphia — a working-class kid with an endless curiosity about people. She went to FSU, joined Corporate America straight out of college, and spent years climbing through sales and operations in the hospitality industry.
Then came the offer that changed everything. Her company offered her the COO role and a partnership. It was everything she was supposed to want.
"I kept thinking, I should feel so happy about this. I came in on Monday morning and said, thank you very much, I quit."
